HRMS Tax Filing & Reporting Services

Humanic offers full Tax Filing and Reporting Services for federal, state, city, and local jurisdictions

Humanic's Tax Payment and File Service reconciles your wage and tax data, collects the appropriate funds timely and distributes the monies to the proper tax agencies. We prepare and file the necessary tax forms with procedures in place to ensure compliance for EFTPS or check. We prepare and file your annual 940 as well as reconcile, prepare, and file your W-2's if you wish. We respond to all agency inquiries concerning tax deposits and returns prepared by Humanic. All documents and related data are retained for a period, which meets or exceeds legal retention requirements.

We take full responsibility

We even sign your returns for you and assume responsibility for accurate and timely tax deposits.

Is your organization aware of all EFTPS (Electronic Federal Tax Payment System) Requirements?

Since it began in 1996, EFTPS has processed more than 197 million federal tax payments totaling more than $5 trillion.

  • If mandated, your company must be enrolled in EFTPS. Enrollment currently takes 8-10 weeks to process. A mandated taxpayer must use one of the two methods of deposit (ACH credit or debit).

  • Proof of deposit on ACH debit is your bank statement.

  • There is no proof of deposit on ACH credit

  • Funds must be in your bank at least one day prior to deposit due date. Penalties are significant for improper depositing

  • Penalty abatement is considered only in cases in which you can prove your bank failed to make a timely deposit

Although you may be relieved of the current requirement to use EFTPS, you could become subject to the requirement in the future if your federal tax deposits exceed $200,000 for any calendar year. Under the new requirements, if your total deposits of all federal taxes during a calendar year exceed $200,000, you are required to use EFTPS beginning in the second succeeding calendar year. For example: if you had more than $200,000 in deposits of designated taxes in calendar year 2002, you will be required to use EFTPS beginning January 2004. Once you are required to use EFTPS, you will continue to be required in subsequent years, even if your annual tax deposits fall below $200,000.

For additional information on EFTPS, refer to the website at http://www.eftps.gov.
