HRMS Time & Attendance Reporting
|
Humanic offers a variety of Time and Attendance solutions that are designed to meet the
client's individual needs. The Humanic Time Sheet embedded into the Employee and Manager
Self-Service components front ends the Humanic Payroll and handles basic electronic time sheet
requirements. The time sheet is real-time with the HRMS database.
Employees have the ability
to enter their time on an hourly or daily basis or the time sheet can default to a standard
employee schedule. Different groups of employees can have different time sheet defaults. The
Manager Self-Service component offers a great deal of flexibility relative to employee time sheet
oversight. Multiple levels of approvals allow management to approve or reject time sheets.
Automatic e-mails can be sent to employees whose time sheets are rejected. The system also
allows for the collection of labor distribution based on user-defined categories such as
project, job, task, etc. Since the core HRMS can accrue paid time off, both employees and
managers can review their balances within Self-Service. Employees can request or enter new
time off information pending manager's approval.
Humanic also partners with third party vendors where the client requires more complex rules
based software systems that can handle the most complex work environments.
These systems have the ability to be configured to handle comprehensive overtime, shift,
rounding, holiday, schedule, and labor distribution policies. Data entry into rules based
software can include Web or desktop-based electronic timesheet, badge readers, IVR (telephones),
biometric devices and scanned paper timesheets.
The addition of an automated Time and Attendance system can offer some of the following
advantages:
- Automate what can be a labor intense process to eliminate keying errors and allow HR
and payroll to focus on more strategic issues than administering time cards/sheets.
- Eliminate the variance between policy and practice relative to your pay policies
allowing you to enforce policy where appropriate but offering the flexibility for
Manager overrides as you see fit.
- Act as a front-end to your payroll process by automatically maintaining and applying
complex pay and work rules such as schedule, holiday, shift, overtime and accrual rules to
hours and projects worked.
- Streamline your internal workflow to allow for functional managers to have more
direct control over their employees through the use of manager sign off and review of
hours and projects worked/completed, yet maintain payroll and senior management groups as
the final arbiter of company policy.
- Allow for a geographically disburse organization to administer time sheets
electronically thus eliminating mailing and processing costs and allowing for manager
approval and submission to payroll on a more timely basis.
